Exceptional speed
The mixing speed is among the highest in the world: 1 cycle per minute! Because of the particular angle at which they are set, the two helixes lift the entire mass of concrete, creating a vortex as it falls back, and at the same time produce an axial movement from one end of the mixer to the other. This combined action is performed 20 times in the space of 30 seconds. The complete load is discharged in less than 10 seconds through a port on the bottom of the tank, assisted by the helixes which complete the perfect cleaning of the mixer. All this makes the Chillon mixer faster than any batching plant.
Low energy consumption
Energy saving is certainly another feature that makes the Chillon mixer unbeatable; an economy that is made possible by the mixing speed and the discharge speed, which combine to give it a very short cycle time. As well as this, the particular layout of this single-shaft mixer means that a lower-powered electric motor can be used, and therefore the total power consumption is considerably lower than that of other mixers on the market.
Ease of cleaning
The modern, simple and functional shape makes the Chillon mixer easy to clean: added to the reduced washing time is the desirable feature of requiring very little maintenance.
